VISITOR EXPERIENCE / SECURITY REPRESENTATIVES

The Glenbow Museum has Visitor Experience and Security Representative Opportunities available immediately. These are Full Time and Casual On-Call positions that will report to the Managers of Visitor Experience and Security and Building Services. You will be responsible for ensuring that security and safety procedures are met with respect to premises, collections, visitors and staff. Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to, responding to visitor and staff needs and inquiries, monitoring building safety measures, providing emergency assistance to visitors and staff as required e.g. first aid, emergency evacuation. You will observe security surveillance screens, monitor alarm systems and conduct inventory and condition reporting of artifacts on exhibit floors as well as maintaining a physical presence on public access floors during open hours. This position also handles deliveries and shipments, assists with courier service, and responds to phone inquiries.

One year related experience including public service, emergency first aid training and security procedures is an asset. Day and evening shifts are required for Full Time. Day, evening and night shifts are available for Casual On-Call.
