The names on the Sheep Creek Cup were a Who's Who in Alberta polo and cattlemen circles. In 1901, this cup was won by the Calgary Polo Club in a match with the Millarville Polo Club, and remained in circulation at local tournaments at Calgary, Pekisko, Millarville, and High River until 1939.
