RIGHTS AND REPRODUCTIONS FEE SCHEDULE
Ordering Instructions:
- Read the Category of Use descriptions to determine the proper fee category for your request
- Calculate the total fee for your Photographic Materials
- Add the Reproduction Fee total
- Add the Shipping and Handling fee based on your requirements
- Orders must be processed either by phone or email. For audio, video, and commercial requests please contact the Rights Coordinator at copyright@glenbow.org or 403-268-4144. For all other requests please contact the Registrar at photoorders@glenbow.org or 403-268-4205.
- You must read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below
Terms and Conditions:
- Allow 2-3 weeks after full payment for completion of photographic order. Rush orders are shipped in 5 business days or less. Please contact institution prior to placing a rush order to guarantee delivery date.
- Fees for sales and loans do not include reproduction rights
- All prices are quoted in Canadian Funds and do not include applicable taxes
- Orders can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash or cheque
- If applicable, copyright for the image must be cleared by the client prior to placing an order. If the image is in public domain, Glenbow Museum still owns copyright of the photograph itself
- In addition to the fees outlined above, Glenbow Museum requests one (1) complimentary copy of each publication/product produced
- All reproductions of two dimensional objects must be at least 10% larger or smaller than the original
- Permission to reproduce is for one time use, per image
- Unless approved in advance by the institution, images shall be reproduced in their entirety and shall not be retouched or altered in any way which could affect their historical or artistic integrity, i.e. cropping, color alterations, scale/proportion modification, superimposition, overprinting, or rotation.
- Reproductions must be accompanied by a credit line containing the following information:
For artworks:
Name of Creator, Title of Work, Date, Collection of Glenbow Museum, Calgary, Canada, Catalogue #
For cultural artifacts:
Artifact Title, Culture, Date, Collection of Glenbow Museum, Calgary, Canada, Catalogue #
