She describes the tasks of moving and setting up house, her housekeeping and social life, Roy's establishment of the Club Cafe, their amusements together (theatre, card playing, walks), and the significance of the number eleven to the couple. The diaries are written in "Physician's Daily Memorandum" books, featuring descriptions of medical conditions and treatments at the top of each page. View now. |
