Series 3 Gordon Lloyd Burton Papers. -- 1937-1990. -- The series consists of both personal papers and business records of Gordon Lloyd Burton, the youngest son of F.A. Burton. These papers have been broken down into three subseries: personal papers, which include awards, certificates, ephemera, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, articles, speeches and his Ph.D. thesis; farm and ranch records which include account books, grazing permits and leases, and tax papers; and some records related to other businesses and organizations in which Gordon L. Burton was involved, including the Public Expenditure and Revenue Study Committee, the Advisory Committee on the Regulation of the Electric Power Industry in Alberta, the Canada West Foundation, Burns Foods Limited, the China - Canada Conference on Sharing in Agricultural Development, and the Meat Advisory Committee.
