Clarke's handwritten diaries. -- 1876-1886. -- 2 volumes (121 pages). -- Consists of the diaries of Simon John Clarke, who joined the North-West Mounted Police in 1876, and was posted primarily at Fort Macleod, Alberta. This version, written in his own hand, appears to have been transcribed from the original diaries, the location of which is unknown.
