Series 1

Edwin (Ted) Cumming. -- 1888-2010, predominant 1929-1970. -- 4.5 cm of textual records. -- 35 photographs. -- Edwin (Ted) Cumming was born in Devonshire, England in 1888. He moved to Canada in 1911, first to Ontario, then to the Cayley, Alberta area about 1914. He married Eva Eaglesham in 1920 and they had six children: Keith, Elaine, Doreen, Eldon, Wesley and Lloyd. They farmed near Cayley before retiring to High River in 1965, where Ted died in 1970. -- The series consists of certificates, financial material, newspaper clippings, photographs, etc. relating to Ted and the Cumming family.

M-9131-2 Cumming family miscellaneous. -- 1942-2010. -- Consists of announcements, newspaper clippings, etc. re Emma Lambshead Cumming, Edwin Keith Cumming, Wesley Cumming and Elaine Cumming Edey.
M-9131-3 Cumming family photographs. -- [1890s]-1996. -- 35 photographs. -- Consists of views of Cumming family members including Ted and Eva Eaglesham Cumming, Wesley Cumming, Keith Cumming, Lloyd Cumming, Jack and Doreen Cumming Orman, Cliff and Elaine Cumming Edey, Cumming-Eaglesham family gatherings, Braeside School (near Cayley, Alberta), etc.

Series 2

Eva Eaglesham Cumming. -- 1928-1982. -- 12 cm of textual records. -- Eva Pearl Eaglesham was born near Clifford, Ontario in 1894. She moved with her family to McTaggart, Saskatchewan ca. 1905, and to a farm near Cayley, Alberta in 1909. She married Ted Cumming in 1920 and they had six children: Keith, Elaine, Doreen, Eldon, Wesley and Lloyd. They farmed near Cayley until retiring to High River in 1965, where Eva died in 1982. -- The series consists mainly of diaries and correspondence.

M-9131-8 Correspondence, etc. -- 1948-1982. -- Consists mainly of correspondence. Also includes Red Cross citation, High River Friendship Group program, Eva's funeral service and obituary, etc.

Margaret Eaglesham. -- 1919-1992, predominant 1959-1992. -- 5 cm of textual records. -- Margaret Eaglesham, 1899-1992, was Eva's younger sister. She trained as a teacher and taught at Cayley, Coaldale and Lethbridge, where she retired. -- The series consists mainly of diaries and correspondence.

M-9131-9 Diaries. -- 1941, 1973, 1975, 1980, 1981
M-9131-10 Correspondence, etc. -- 1919-1992, predominant 1959-1992. -- Consists mainly of correspondence regarding family history. Also includes Margaret's memorial service and obituary, and a class register from a grade 8 class taught by Margaret at Southminster School, 1968-1969.

Series 4

Eaglesham-Watson family. -- [ca. 1865]-2002, predominant 1948-2002. -- 3.5 cm of textual records. -- 30 photographs. -- Eva and Margaret Eaglesham's parents were William Eaglesham, 1866-1948, and Frances Watson, 1865-1935. They married in Ontario in 1893 and came to Alberta in 1909 with their six children: Eva (Cumming), Hugh, Anne (Becker), Margaret, Elliott and John. -- The series consists mainly of obituary clippings and photographs relating to the Eaglesham and Watson families.

M-9131-11 Obituaries and miscellaneous family history. -- 1904-2002, predominant 1948-2002. -- Consists of family history notes, death certificates for William and Frances Eaglesham, obituary clippings for William Eaglesham, John Eaglesham, Elliott Eaglesham, Hugh Eaglesham, etc.
M-9131-12 Photographs. -- [ca. 1865]-2000, predominant [ca. 1890s]-2000. -- 30 photographs. -- Consists of views of William and Frances Watson Eaglesham, Ted and Eva Eaglesham Cumming, Hugh and Gwen Eaglesham, James and Anne Eaglesham Becker, Margaret Eaglesham, Elliott and Emily Eaglesham, John and Norma Eaglesham, etc.
