Russell Johnston was a member of the local, and was the secretary- treasurer 1930-1932. -- Consists of minutes, membership records, correspondence, circulars sent to the local by the provincial UFA, receipts and cashbook. There are gaps in the records, the most obvious being the records from 1928, which are completely missing.

United Farm Women of Alberta, Helmsdale local no. 80. -- 1929-1938, 1946-1948. -- 18 cm of textual records. -- The Helmsdale local of the UFWA was established in 1929. Louise Johnston was a founding member of the organization, and served as the secretary-treasurer, 1935-1937. From 1939 to 1945 the Helmsdale UFA and UFWA operated as a joint local. -- Consists of minutes, membership records, correspondence, receipts and cashbook, UFWA Bulletins, reading course book reviews, and UFWA Hi-Lights.
