Due to the arrival of a nightclub next door, the gallery moved to the Neilson Building at 118 8th Ave SW in 1980 and changed its name to Off Centre Centre. In 1987 a fire set to the lawyer's office below Off Centre Centre caused significant smoke damage to the gallery, prompting amove to 110 11th Ave SW (a space then shared with Paul Kuhn Gallery and Stride Gallery) and a name change to The New Gallery. The New Gallery moved in 1995 to 110 8th Avenue and again in 1996 to 516 9th Avenue, the original Clouds 'n' Water location. In 2007, they relocated to Eau Claire Market.
