"Sun Calf and his party of eight warriors travelled to Crow country.
Once there, they hid by going from coulee to coulee. However, some Crow
hunters spotted them and gave the alarm. Soon many riders came out from
the Crow camp to fight. Before long two or three hundred Crow had
assembled. Sun Calf and his party ran for a hill and were closely chased
by the Crow. The Bloods made a dugout on the hill and settled in for a
siege. The fighting went on for four days and the Bloods - Sun Calf,
Peenaquim, White Wolf, Many Feathers, Little Dog - killed many Crow.
During the forth night, the Bloods managed to escape and return home."
