Be part of the vibrant new Glenbow
Valued Friends and Supporters
There's a new vibrancy at Glenbow and we want you to be a part of it. As Calgary's cultural cornerstone and one of Western Canada's largest museums, we offer the very best in art and culture experiences.
Our visitors represent the new Calgary: they're curious, well-travelled, educated and diverse. They are looking for meaningful experiences, and are finding them at our Launch Parties, the now-legendary Schmancy event and in our full range of exhibitions and programs.
We need your help in bringing these unparalleled exhibitions to life, like our continuing Made in Calgary series and the upcoming Canadian premiere of the exhibition Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket.
Here are a few of the things we've accomplished thanks to invaluable contributions from our community.
- Preserved and provided access to over 1 million artifacts, 125,000 books and 31,000 works of art (the fourth largest art collection in Canada!).
- Over 43,000 excited school children explored Glenbow last year, and we are the top-of-mind choice for Calgary teachers.
- Over 1,000 people attended our Schmancy fundraising event last year and over 50 local businesses and individuals helped raise much needed dollars and awareness.
- We reduced our operating deficit significantly from last year in our efforts to become sustainable in the long-term.
For 47 years, Glenbow has been Calgary's art and culture leader. As a registered not-for-profit and non-governmental organization, we rely on the valued support we receive from people like you. Please join us in enhancing Glenbow as a place where Calgarians and visitors can discover the meaning of art and culture in their lives. Please consider a donation today.
Thank you so much for your support.
