2008 Dinner a Smash Hit!
Thanks to the support of our 260 dinner patrons, the generosity of our sponsors, and the efforts of our Board members, staff, and volunteers, the 8th annual Eric Harvie Dinner was an overwhelming success.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the prestigious Eric L. Harvie - Glenbow Award to the 2008 honourees, Rod Green and Nexen Inc. Attendees were treated to an exclusive preview of our fall exhibits; Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller’s Paradise Institute and Through the Looking Glass curated by Glenbow President & CEO, Jeffrey Spalding. The award is presented annually to recognize the individual and corporation that exemplify vision, philanthropy, and commitment to arts and heritage.
Proceeds from the dinner provide the Glenbow vital funding to continue to bring a variety of dynamic exhibitions and a broad collection of artifacts, art and historical documents to our city.
Rod Green is presented with the Eric Harvie Award by Jeffrey Spalding, former President & CEO of the Glenbow.
