Glenbow Museum's Permanent Gallery -Mavericks: An Incorrigible History of Alberta
Glenbow Museum is known as a keeper of western memories. We celebrate, collect, and maintain our western heritage. In celebration of Alberta's 100th anniversary as a province in 2005, Glenbow Museum is developing a permanent gallery that traces the history and development of southern Alberta. The storyline will use people and their stories to tell the history of Alberta using Aritha van Herk's book Mavericks: An Incorrigible History of Alberta.
