Discovery Room

Learn about Aboriginal people and honour their traditions. Explore the interpretation of daily life through ledger drawings while you learn about the intricacies and discover the beauty of floral beading. Craft your own
unique, patterned parfleche case while being inspired by traditional designs. Move from traditional to contemporary using unique materials
to create a non-traditional quilted image.

Activities are designed for children four and up!

Children ages 4 and up are always welcome! Parents or guardians must remain with their children (12 years and younger) while visiting the Discovery Room.
