Caribou Hair Tufting Tufting is a traditional Aboriginal art that has gained appreciation over the last century. Usually done with caribou or moose hair, the tufts of hair are sewn onto birch bark, fabric, or hide and then cut to create a soft three-dimensional design. This art takes patience and a steady hand. Join us in learning the art of tufting. Seating is limited to 30 participants for each of the three sessions, which will last approximately 45 minutes. Registration begins at 12 p.m. Arrive early to avoid disappointment! |
