NEW! Blackfoot Language: The Resurgence of an Old Language
(Language Arts, Indigenous/Social Studies)
The Blackfoot language is timeless. In this introduction to the traditional language of this territory, Blackfoot educators will reference many of the artifacts located within the Nitsitapiisinni Gallery, as well as local sites, names of towns and streets. This primer allows for expansion of our history, culture and beliefs, through the use of syllabics, IPA and English. The culture in is in the language. Please join us as we connect language, with objects and stories, to learn about our deeply rooted culture. Welcome to the Blackfoot world.
