1. When is the Museum Open?

Glenbow Museum is open from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We are open most holidays, but for the most up-to-date information, visit our Hours & Admission page.

2. When is the best time to visit?

Generally, visitors will find fewer crowds before 11:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. Make sure you catch Glenbow's great programming that is schedule mostly on the weekends.

3. How do I get to Glenbow Museum?

Glenbow Museum is located in the heart of downtown right on Stephen Avenue. Situated on the corner of 1st Street and 9th Avenue S.E., the museum is across from the Calgary Tower.

4. Where can I park?

Museum visitors can take advantage of the 50% OFF preferred parking rate at the Calgary Tower's Palliser Parkade. Receive your voucher when you provide your admission ticket at the front desk. This offer is valid seven days a week!

5. Where can our bus park?

There is a vehicle drop off/pick up land on 9th Avenue S.E. between Centre Street and 1st Street S.E. for bus and tour groups.

6. How and when do I purchase tickets?

For tour operators and group bookings, contact Glenbow's booking office at (403) 268-4110. Please book tours at least two weeks in advance. Tours are not suitable for children.

For corporate social groups, community associations or any groups looking to pre-purchase vouchers that are valid any day of the week, contact our Marketing & Communications Coordinator at (403) 268-4259.

7. If we arriving for a tour/group visit, how do we check-in?

All groups can check-in at Glenbow's main lobby front desk. If you have booked a tour guide, your guide will meet you in the main lobby.

8. Do you offer refunds or cancellations for tour/group visits?

Cancellations and re-bookings must be confirmed in writing by Glenbow at least 2 weeks prior to the arrival date, otherwise the tour/group will be charged a late adjustment fee of $70.

9. Where can our group enjoy lunch?

Visitors can dine in the many and diverse restaurants on Stephen Avenue or Manny's Cafe, right beside Glenbow Museum!
