Glenbow is never the same place twice. With three floors of gallery space featuring historical and contemporary art, world cultures and Alberta history, Glenbow provides a stunning and creative backdrop for your event, meeting, presentation or reception.

We offer customizable spaces with capacity for 5 to 1000 people. Hold a meeting, brainstorming session or workshop surrounded by art and artifacts in our meeting room. Host a formal seated dinner or chic cocktail event in one of our dramatic lobby spaces. Or, rent the 225-seat Glenbow Theatre for your speaker event, panel discussions or presentation.

Second Floor Lobby

Ideal for cocktail parties and seated dinners, this space is surrounded by Glenbow’s breathtaking art exhibitions.

Historical Art 2nd Floor

Third Floor Lobby

Perfect for cocktail receptions and smaller seated dinners, Glenbow’s third floor lobby offers a spectacular setting that immerses guests in the culture and history of our region. Exhibitions on this floor include Mavericks: An Incorrigible History of Alberta, Niitsitapiisinni: Our Way of Life and New Sun Gallery of Aboriginal Art and Culture.

Capacity: 80 seated, 200 cocktail reception
Cost: $1,500 + staffing and rentals

Glenbow Theatre

Located on the main floor, the tiered Glenbow Theatre is perfect for lectures, presentations, film screenings and AGMs.

Capacity: 225
Cost: 1-4 hours: $800, 4+ hours: $1,200

Morris Shumiatcher Room

This private space is nestled next to the New Sun Gallery on Glenbow’s third floor and is ideal for cocktail receptions, workshops or classroom-style lectures.

Capacity: 50 seated, 75 cocktail reception
Cost: 1-4 hours: $500, 4+ hours: $725
Availability: Days and evenings
