Brereton's diaries telling of life and experiences as magistrate and post master at Cross Lake, Manitoba and Rat Portage, Ontario (1880, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1900, 1903 and 1910); two Bibles with notes re Brereton family.; and David L. Brereton's diaries as stockman, Blackfoot Reserve (1907, 1908, and 1909).
