M-2576 Canada. Department of the Interior. -- 1897, 1909. -- 2 pages. -- Consists of letters to J.S. Dennis about the working of an irrigation ditch (1897); and a letter to John Stewart about irrigation (1909).
M-3117 C.D. Richards. -- 1898. -- 2 pages. -- Consists of a letter from the office of Surveys and Irrigation in Calgary.
M-3754 Bow River Basin Irrigation. -- Compiled 1961 (originally created 1895-1920). -- 43 cm of textual records. -- Consists of seven volumes of summaries of Water Resources Branch files, giving names of pioneers applyinig for irrigation, and details of irrigation projects. Each volume has an outline of contents.
M-3755 Milk River Basin Irrigation. -- Compiled 1958 (originally created 1895-1915). -- 12.5 cm of textual records. -- Consists of two volumes of material extracted from Water Resources Branch files, relating to irrigation in the Milk River area.
M-3756 Robins Irrigation Company. -- Compiled 1961 (originally created 1906). -- 6 cm of textual records. -- Consists of House of Commons debates concerning the Robins Irrigation Company, which made application for lands at the junction of the Bow and Belly Rivers. Includes relevant newspaper clippings.
M-3758 Eastern and Western Irrigation Districts. -- Compiled 1959 (originally created 1894-1943). -- 12.5 cm of textual reocrds. -- Consists of documented outline of events between the establishment by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) of Eastern Irrigation District and Western Irrigation District and their transfer to farmers' cooperatives. M-3768 Central and Southern Alberta Irrigation. -- Compiled 1961 (originally created 1895-1960). -- 12. 5 cm of textual records. -- Consists of registers relating to the drainage basins of the following sources of water: Red Deer River, Bow River, South Saskatchewan River, Oldman River, Seven Persons River, Milk River, Lodge River, Battle River, Many Islands Lake, Forty Mile Lake, Kindersley Lake, Pakowki Lake, McGregor Lake, Wild Horse Lake, and Great Sandhills. -- Copied from originals at the Water Resources branch.

Microfilm Irrigation Water Resources Branch Irrigation Records. -- Microfilmed 1960 (originally created 1894-1961). -- 24 microfilm reels. -- Consists of correspondence and extracts of files related to irrigation in Alberta. Detailed lists of the contents are available on the microfilm boxes. The original records were subsequently deposited, in 1965 and 1966, with the Provincial Archives of Alberta (PAA call number 65.44 and 66.20).
