Glenbow is closed for Renovations

Visit

Glenbow’s building will be closed until 2024

But we’re not going away! You can visit us online – check out all our artist talks and virtual tours

And we’ll be bringing you new in-person experiences starting in February 2022, when we open our temporary pop-up location in downtown Calgary. We’ll see you then.

Become a Member

An annual membership is an investment in inspiration. It’s a great way to stay connected to everything that’s going on at Glenbow and support our operations and programming. Glenbow will continue to offer exhibitions and programs during our building renovation. Our satellite location will open in February 2022.

Discounted Admission Programs

Canada’s First Peoples

Complimentary Indigenous Access

Glenbow is entrusted with an extensive collection related to the heritage and ancestry of Canada’s First Peoples. We are pleased to provide complimentary admission to all First Nations, Inuit and Metis people during regular museum hours. Due to Alberta Health’s physical distancing requirements and the need to limit visitor capacity in our gallery spaces, the maximum group size we can currently accommodate is 6 people or less. Groups of 3 or more are asked to pre-register by contacting jschmidt@glenbow.org. School groups are not eligible for this program.

Low Income Calgarians

City of Calgary Fair Entry Program

As a City of Calgary Recreation Fee Assistance program partner, Glenbow offers low income Calgarians who are part of the City’s Fair Entry program a discounted admission rate. Please email info@glenbow.org to book your visit in advance.

Group Assistance Program

Glenbow’s Group Assistance Program provides opportunities for service agencies and non-profit organizations to visit the museum with groups of youth and/or adults who would otherwise be unable to afford regular admission. Due to Alberta Health’s physical distancing requirements and the need to limit visitor capacity in our gallery spaces, the maximum group size we can currently accommodate is 6 people or less. Please email info@glenbow.org to book your visit.

New Canadians

Canoo

Created by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, the Canoo mobile app gives new Canadians free admission to more than 1,400 museums, galleries, parks and historic sites across Canada during their first year of citizenship. New Canadians can download the app and use code 3580 for free general admission to Glenbow.
