Alberta is the bluegrass capital of Canada. Experience the traditional yet dynamic and modern sound of Craig Korth and Widow Maker. Their sound has been compared to "strong coffee with a shot of moonshine. Goes down smooth, bites hard, and you're revved up and thirsty for more."

Start your evening with an exclusive tour of Glenbow's exhibition Many Faces, Many Paths: Art of Asia. Then, join Vine and Dine's Linda Garson at Rajdoot. There, delight in the colours, tastes and textures of traditional Indian cuisine in this exclusive wine tasting and food sampling.

VESAK - Buddha's Birthday Celebration

Vesak is Buddha's birthday, which falls on the full moon day in May. On this day, Buddha was born, attained enlightenment and passed away. Among Asia's Buddhist community, Vesak is the most important
and biggest celebration.

Drop by Glenbow throughout the day to experience the Vesak celebration, which includes the bathing of baby Buddha and a prayer
ceremony performed by a Buddhist monk. The celebration concludes at 7 p.m. with birthday cake and Buddha's life stories narrated by two local professional actors. Join in the celebration!

Renowned artist and performer Kerriann Cardinal brings her one-woman show A Mile in My Moccasins to Glenbow. Watch as Cardinal shows us a young woman undertaking a journey of self-discovery in which she reconnects to her culture through her memories of her Grandmother.
