As you explore Glenbow's Mavericks: An Incorrigible History of Alberta gallery, watch for our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. They'll share a wealth of artifacts, photographs and stories that bring to life the rich history and heritage of our province.

Using her experience as a teacher and principal, Faith Spotted Eagle comes to Glenbow to share what she’s learned about the relationships and behaviors between Native students, their parents and school systems.  Sometimes saddening and at other time hopeful, join Spotted Eagle for this eye-opening discussion.

Sacred Art of Tibet

September 13 - 18, 2008

We are pleased to host Tibetan Buddhist Monks from the Dzongkar Choede Monastery in southern India.  Here in Calgary to promote their culture and heritage, we invite visitors to watch as the Monks construct a Medicine Buddha Mandala for healing and peace.

September 18

Admission by donation.

Join us as the Monks present a special performance of multiphonic chanting and a purification ritual.
