On April 23, Glenbow’s Board of Governors announced that Donna Livingstone, President & CEO, will depart Glenbow on June 21, 2019, to assume the role of CEO at the Peter and Catharine Whyte Foundation and the Whyte Museum in Banff, Alberta. Glenbow’s Board has initiated a North America-wide search for a new CEO to lead the institution.
Dear Friends,
Thank
you so much for all your support and encouragement of Glenbow (and of me) over
the past six years. It’s been a truly remarkable journey, and I can’t think of
better people to have taken it with.
I will be leaving Glenbow to take up a new role as CEO of the Peter and Catharine Whyte Foundation and the Whyte Museum in Banff. It’s an exciting opportunity and a great fit with my interests and love of the mountains.
I am deeply honoured to have been part of Glenbow’s rejuvenation over the past six years. We are where we are today because of the professionalism of our exceptional staff, the commitment of our board and the unfaltering support of Calgarians who believed in making our vision a reality. I am leaving Glenbow in very good hands.
And now it is time for someone else to continue the journey and bring new leadership to Glenbow’s exciting future.
Thank you again to all Glenbow’s supporters, donors and community advocates for helping to build a public art museum that we can all be immensely proud of. Thank you for all you do for Glenbow and the arts in Calgary. It means a lot.
Warmest wishes,
Donna Livingstone
President and CEO
