Glenbow Reimagined

Transformation

Glenbow invites qualified Blackfoot artists to submit quotes and artist packages for six (6) art commissions to be part of the newly reimagined Blackfoot Gallery, part of the museum’s reopening exhibition program in 2027.

The selected artists will work collaboratively with Blackfoot Elders co-curating the exhibition and Glenbow’s Collections & Curatorial team to create these art installations. The consultant will report to the Director, Collections & Curatorial.

The anticipated contract term is from November 2026 through final artwork delivery in March 2027. Interested artists should anticipate participating in meetings with Blackfoot Elders, Glenbow staff, and project stakeholders through concept development, review, and approval phases.
