More about Galasa Aden
A born-and-bred Calgarian, Chef Galasa Aden found his passion for cooking while studying to become an engineer. For three years, he honed his craft at River Café, under the mentorship of Chef Matthias Fong. In 2018, Galasa moved to River Café’s sister restaurant, Deane House, where he led the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine. Galasa served as Executive Chef at Cliffhanger Restaurant in Invermere BC from November 2019 to February 2021. He is also a contestant on Top Chef Canada Season 9, which airs on the Food Network starting on March 19, 2021.
